My
Road Trip
One
of the best things to visit my grandparents is passing through the beautiful
and peaceful alley that they live in.
When
I was little, I love to visit my grandparents. The village they lived in was
once an old Military dependents’ village and walking through the alley of the
village is very serene and peaceful, different from the noisy traffic of the
city. I love to watch the warming smile on the neighbors faces and chatting
with them happily when I walked by their front door. Every year, I’ll visit my
grandparents three or four times. The neighbor's would greet to me and asked if I have grown taller. I always giggled and said:"Yes!" It feels so good to be always welcomed and I love the fact that the village is full of nice, uniting neighbors who help each other and living in harmony. More over, my
grandma has green finger and she has planted plenty of beautiful, exuberant
plants to decorate the pathway of their front door. Every time I stepped in the
valley, I can always see the lovely green plants greeting to me as I walked by.
These are the reason why passing through the village to my grandparent’s house
is always joyful.
I'm grown up now and I seldom get the chance to visit them, they moved away because the village was replaced by the government's buildings. Although the village was gone, the
beautiful scenery and memories of the alley is unforgettable.
